TaeKwon-Do for Children in Banstead

September 9th was the second ever session for Banstead TaeKwon-Do, we’re a new martial arts school in Surrey and we’re associated with Extreme TaeKwon-Do and TaeKwon-Do Impact.
That evening started at 6pm and it was loud! I had a great attendance at the early class designed for 4 – 6 year olds and they each had a wonderful time filled with games, exercises and special TaeKwon-Do movements.
The session for the young ones was thoughtfully put together and the entire program is designed to develop physical attributes, coordination and mental focus as well as helping the children understand that exercise needs to be an integrated part of our daily lives to ensure that we remain mobile and healthy as we age.
Children are amazing and given the right stimulation will learn extremely fast; it won’t be long until these Tiny TaeKwon-Do’ers are developing great memories, recognising patterns in movement, creating their own sequences, growing in confidence and making great friends.

The TaeKwon-Do class designed for 4 – 6 year olds is held on Wednesdays at the Priory School Sports Hall, Bolters Lane, Banstead, Surrey. There are no ‘terms’ or ‘courses’ that are constrained by dates and school holidays, my TaeKwon-Do classes are ongoing and each child is taught at the the appropriate level – above all the children have great fun and can’t wait until the next session.
