Martial Arts at Warren Mead School Fair
Banstead TaeKwon-Do were asked to do a TKD Demonstration at Warren Mead School at their summer fair, Saturday June 26th. Thank you to little Sam’s Mum from the Juniors for arranging this for us, we love any opportunity to show the power and skill of TaeKwon-Do.
A Banstead TaeKwon-Do Demonstration Team of 11 people including me practiced hard and were ready for the event. We covered TaeKwon-Do Traditional moves, Patterns, Sparring, Padwork and some jumping too. I was most impressed with how well everyone performed, there was not a sign of nerves in anyone and importantly everyone behaved well and represented the school very well – especially the two very youngest Edie and Georgia, both still 4 years old at the time.
I would like to thank these students for participating on the day:
- Georgia Lou
- Edie
- Conor
- Mahmud
- Sam Jnrs
- Matt
- Hazel
- Josey
- Sam Snrs
- Lucy
A special thanks to all those who came to show off their skills – it means a lot to Banstead TaeKwon-Do that you took part but more importantly you’ve learnt a lot by taking part. You performed your TKD in front of a large crowd and that’s not easy, well done.
Here is a little video of the day, please watch:
Also, here are some still photographs of the day (if anyone else has some please let me know):
Thank to everyone.
