Warren Mead School Demonstration June 25th 2011

Wow this is a late post I know, my excuse is that a lot has happened this summer and I just haven’t had a chance to think about it since June 25th.
Firstly, I would like to say a real BIG THANK YOU to all the TaeKwon-Do students from Banstead, that’s the Tiny TKD’ers, Juniors and Seniors and a BIG THANK YOU to all the parents who took time out to come along a support Banstead TaeKwon-Do at the Warren Mead school summer fete. Thank you also to the school for giving us the opportunity to show of some of our TaeKwon-Do.
This year’s demo team was skewed more towards our younger member, whereas last years we had a more senior members skew, and this meant the demonstration content was tailored for the Tiny TKD’ers and the Juniors TKD’ers – the adults helped with patterns and pad holding and did a little sparring too.
Well done to everybody that took part. I always say that it is very hard to stand up in front of people and perform anything, whether that’s acting, speaking aloud, reading in class, but I think that standing up in front of hundreds of strangers of all ages and performing your TaeKwon-Do Martial Arts is a very brave and amazing thing – you should all be very proud of yourselves, you all did great. You did a great thing for yourselves, for the Club and for TaeKwon-Do – I am very proud of you all.
Special Thanks to
Tiny TKD’ers: Edie, Georgia, Caitlin, Callum, Oscar and Elena
Junior TKD: Ben, Max, Niall, Sam and James
Adult TKD helpers: Sam, Hazel and Andy
Here’s the video from the day:
Thanks again,
James Davis
