There is a real art to Kettlebell Training and one that has a real pleasure to get right. As with anything, have a good teacher & listen well and you’ll be swinging with great technique and loving The Art of Kettlebell Training.

Your Instructor (Me, James Davis)

I have excellent credentials as a teacher of physical movement and kettlebell training/teacher. My background in TaeKwon-Do Martial Arts is an excellent demonstration of my commitment to activity and my teaching experience: I’ve been teaching classes since 1998 and I have had some of the best and highest qualified instructors in the UK

My kettlebell training has followed a similar line in that I discovered the best teachers available to me and took the path of one of the toughest certifications available. My teachers, in order of exposure, have been:

1) Jamie Lloyd – RKC, IKFF CKT 1 & 2 FMD

2) Cj Swaby  - CKT and  member of the IKFF Team of Coaches

3) Steve Cotter – President of the IKFF

I certified as a full Level 1 CKT through the IKFF during the weekend of October 9th and 10th 2010 at a hard as nails testing seminar run by Steve Cotter at Earlsfield Boxing Club, London, SW18.

Kettlebell Classes and Private Sessions

As a standalone fitness activity Kettlebell Training gets great results in both strength, endurance and power. There are other tools available out there that may help you get stronger but certainly with the versatility of a single kettlebell you will be having fun, concentrating on technique, being mindful, enjoying the rhythm and gaining all the benefits of increased activity, lots of muscular activation,  being with a group of like minded people and making friends.

As an addition to your Martial Arts training, Kettlebell training can help on so many levels but in short the methods used will help build lean muscle, improve your ability to work hard for longer periods, improve your ability to rest and regenerate while under stress and well as building real power.
