What is TaeKwon-Do?

TaeKwon-Do is a Martial Art that involves all aspects of self defence training. We learn correct techniques to generate maximum power and accuracy for punches, strikes, kicks and blocks; we learn to practice these techniques against imaginary opponents in the form of Patterns and against real opponents in the form of sparring.

What is TaeKwon-Do for me?

TaeKwon-Do has been a way for me to develop and achieve the physical aspects of fitness, agility, power and strength beyond what I ever thought possible for myself; it has been a way to achieve mental focus on tasks and achieve meditation through movement; it has been a way to develop confidence and excitement; it has been a way to feel complete freedom; it has been a way to create and maintain long lasting friendships. I hope to help my TKD students to enjoy the activity as I do and to get out of it even more than I have.
